Barbara Lee Gottlieb

    Barbara Lee Gottlieb has been a major provider of professional development for over 20 years working with school districts, universities, and parent groups. Barbara also brings the most innovative research based strategies to educators at conferences and training centers throughout the country. She believes that professional development should be sustainable and meet your specific needs.

     Mrs. Gottlieb has extensive experience as a classroom teacher, literacy specialist, and consultant. She is a faculty member at Penn State University Brandywine, in their College of Education. During her tenure, Mrs. Gottlieb has provided professional development to teachers, future teachers, and parents for many years.

     Barbara provides the support teachers, parents, and university students need to develop strategies children require to become successful readers and writers. As an author of books for educators, parents, and children, Barbara provides the necessary link in literacy development for all children through a variety of programs, including Guided Reading, Shared Reading, Independent Reading, Reading Workshops, and Literature Circles.
